Photographing your pet can be a difficult task because it requires capturing your pet's personalities, funny and sweet moments, and habits. It takes a certain set of skills and patience to actually do it.
Pets can be unpredictable and quite fast at times (unless you have a snail or a turtle as a pet). This gives you access to all of the information you need to improve, but it will put your photography skills to the test.
Some photographers abandon this natural, candid state in favour of portraiture. This is because people are much easier to control than animals.
Fortunately, pets will do almost anything for a snack or treat. These could be your own pets or, if you decide to start a pet photography business, pets from another family.
