Tenants Told "No Dogs" But Rabbit Would Be Fine So They Settle On Dog-Sized Rabbit
Well that's one way to get around your landlord's rule or at least get the most bang for the situation.

Welcome back to another Reddit post that we're going to be looking at today and this one is from the malicious compliance thread which is one that we love reading into because of how fun the stories can be. With this being said, we are looking into a post that was submitted by a woman who is talking about something that happened with their landlord.
The couple wanted to get a dog, specifically a Corgi, but the landlord told them no and that they could get a smaller pet like a hamster or a rabbit. With this, the couple decided that they wanted to get a rabbit but they decided to get quite a large rabbit.
They referred to it as a "dog-sized rabbit" and this is definitely a great malicious compliance story because it's harmless but the couple goes to push the boundaries a bit here with their decision. This is pretty funny and we are glad that OP share this story on Reddit.
If you're interested in looking into the full post here then keep on reading as we dive in and give you a full look into the post and all of the best comments on it.
OP starts her post off by saying it's not very long, which it's definitely not because she got straight to the point.
This is such a funny thing because I'm pretty sure the landlord didn't expect that and also probably didn't know just how big rabbits can get.
It seems like some people in the comments had a similar experience and did the same things that OP experienced when dealing with the landlord.
Remarkable_Story9843People already came in the comments to make joke about the situation and it seems like OP was friendly enough for them.
CoderJoe1Even a Corgi isn't big though so we're not really sure what the problem was but maybe the size has nothing to do with it.
SLeepy_InSeattleOP told us a bit about whatthey do with the rabbit and how they take care of it ona day to day basis as some people were asking her.
psychology_traineeYes this is also odd but I guess this person below had a point with the fear behind the water, but it's still odd to me.
Imhere_m58Having a littler box trained rabbit is so smart especially if you like to let them roam around the entirety of your home.
thomasbrakelineSeems like rabbits aren't always nice and they can have some pretty bad tendencies. We've heard multiple stories where people had had negative experiences with rabbits.
derwent-01Some people have had good experiences with their cats while others just haven't had the best experiences with them.
Lyndonn81This situation is pretty funny because they were able to take advantage of getting a pet and they ended up with a giant rabbit that they love. It's also interesting that the landlord had these animal specifics though.
What do you think about this situation and what her malicious compliance was?
