Dog Gets To See The Sea After Being In Chains His Entire Life, Has The Most Adorable Reaction

As animal enthusiasts, we understand how crucial it is for dogs to play and run around with other dogs. Dogs must always be permitted to run unrestrictedly, but occasionally, we must wear a leash for their protection.

Beginning with his first trip to the seashore, a rescue dog who cruelly lived his first five years chained up alone in his owner's backyard has been given a new lease on life. Sadly, this stunning German Shepherd was not allowed to live a free life because of his callous owner.

A very fluffy German Shepherd named Hershel had not had the easiest life and was looking forward to the day he would finally be able to find a place he could call his forever home. Thankfully, his dreams—along with a few other "firsts" that were all documented on camera—came true.

Before then, Hershel was rescued and adopted twice, but he was brought back to the shelter after his owners abandoned him in their yard after neglecting him.

Herschel had apparently been tied to a pole, so he was thrilled when he was eventually saved and brought to a shelter. Unfortunately, it seemed that this poor teddy bear of a dog had experienced some mental trauma as a result of his tragic beginnings, which made him challenging for some people to adopt.

Meet the bubbly dog who has gone through a lot, Hershel

As he was taken in by a new family, the street appeared to have a rising sun once more. However, Herschel is an enthusiastic, joyful, and content dog, and it proved to be too much for his new owners.

His demeanor gave the impression of being aggressive. And just when it seemed he might have to live out the rest of his days in a cage, someone happened to have a space for him.

Hershel is about to have the moment of his life

He was turned over to Michelson Found Animals, who provided him with the necessary care and medical treatment. With the help of Rocky Kanaka and his "Dogs Day Out" initiative, Herschel was able to go on a trip he would never forget.

They gave him a fun-filled day as their first act of kindness. A couple hours of play in the snowy mountains preceded the road trip and Herschel was ecstatic about the new fluffy material, as you may imagine.

Herschel could now run, explore, and enjoy all he had missed so much but then, the best was still to come. The beach was going to be their next destination.

The dog's response when it saw the water for the first time is amazing. He was simply unable to control himself.

It would be a grave understatement to say the dog was excited. You can see Hershel bouncing, whining, and yelling with delight as soon as he sees the waves scream and crash against the sand.

His joy was even greater when he was carried along the shore to dip his paws in the ocean. Kanaka shared in the video saying;

"He was biting the waves, and jumping in and out like a dolphin." It brings happy tears to my eyes knowing that he’ll now be loved forever.”
