Wife Moves Out Because Husband Won't Get Rid Of Dog That Keeps Hurting Their Child

We're back at another Reddit post today, and this one that we are looking at is from the AITA thread, which is a thread we often love to look into. This thread usually gets quite a lot of comments, and it gets a lot of posts in general, which prompts us to always share them here.

It's interesting to read all of the different perspectives and opinions that people have in the comments, and it's fun to look into what kind of situations other people are going through. With this being said, we are looking into a post today that was submitted by a mom who is concerned and currently staying at a hotel because her husband won't get rid of their dog.

Essentially, she says that the dog hurts their kid and that this has happened multiple times to no avail. She's spoken to him about rehoming the dog to his mom's house, but he won't budge, so her response was to leave with their child.

This is the disclaimer that she put on the post originally to share that she was not suggesting this at all.

Then she goes into the real issue here and why she's upset with her husband about the dog.

She tells us a bit about the dog and what faults the dog has which can be dangerous to their young baby.

She also says that they've done all they can for the dog to control it and keep it entertained so that it doesn't cause trouble.

Then she talks about her daughter and how the dog has been an issue with their daughter since she was born.

This is where we would draw the line too because even though the dog doesn't mean to, it's still happening.

OP gets into the latest incident which made her leave the house.

We definitely can understand why she would be upset about this and we feel like something definitely needs to happen here.

Having a dog and a baby can be a terrible combination sometimes and there's nothing you can do about it.

She tells us more about the conversation they had and how it ended up going.

She decided that this was enough and she said they needed to be separate at all times.

It seems like they just can't get on the same page about this as hubby doesn't want to lose his dog.

This is when the ultimatum came in.

It seems like people did think that the dog needs to go after everything its put their daughter through.

It seems that the dog wasn't an issue in the beginning, but that it's definitely an issue now that their daughter is born.

There were a lot of comments here on this situation, and there were actually quite a few different perspectives as well. Ultimately, an agreement needs to be made because neither side of this situation is happy, and neither is willing to budge at the moment.
