"If someone has a blanket on the ground at the park or at the beach, Goose believes it’s an open invitation for her."
Goose and her sister, Nan, found their forever home a year ago, and ever since, Goose has been spending her days trying to make friends with every person she comes across.
Whenever Goose spots a person in the street or park, she immediately wants to go over and say hello. She loves pets and assumes that everyone will want to be her best friend.
"She truly just loves everyone; it’s the best," Amy Solomon, Goose’s owner, said. "Her sister is more timid around new people, but Goose is like ‘HELLO, I AM GOOSE. IT IS GREAT TO BE YOUR FRIEND.’"
With Goose being a pit bull, sometimes people are a little hesitant to approach her. But Goose is doing her very best to diminish the preconceived stereotypes people often have about the breed.
"If someone has a blanket on the ground at the park or at the beach, Goose believes it’s an open invitation for her," Amy said. "So when she saw this one, she made a beeline for it and did her classic, ‘I’m gonna roll around on my back until you pet me so much,’ move."
"He loved it," Amy said. "He had a dog of his own who was more concerned with chasing a ball, but Goose will always opt for blanket snuggles."
Goose couldn't have been happier if she tried. She had made a new friend and was getting cuddles in the park - how much better could things get?
Eventually, Amy had to drag Goose away from her new friend when it was time to go home. Making new friends is her very favorite thing!
Good girl, Goose!
