Giulia Bragaglia, an extremely talented artist based out of Rome, has a penchant for Disney characters. Disney Princesses, to be more specific.
While this wasn’t always her path to success, previously graduating with a degree in speech therapy, Bragaglia has always been passionate about art and drawing. After graduating, and while working as a speech therapist, she enrolled Roman School of Comics in Rome, and four years later, she is now an illustrator by trade.
When she isn’t creating illustrations for children’s books or commissions, Bragaglia likes to draw and share her own Disney Fanart on her Instagram, @the_imaginist_. The name is an intentional nod to Disney’s Imagineers, the artists, and animators that work at the Walt Disney Company since she credits watching Disney movies for igniting her passion for drawing.
“I wanted a name that made you "dream", that made you think of fantasy, creation, imagination. I knew that the imaginers were the "engineers of the imagination", who worked for Walt Disney. And since Uncle Walt, or rather his feature films, are the reason why I started drawing as a child, it seemed like a good choice: I took the part of the engineers and created The_imaginist.”
Today, we’re sharing a specific collection she’s created: Disney Princesses clothes exchange! Keep scrolling to see which Princesses Bragaglia paired up and swapped their iconic dresses and styles.
