1. Pixar Avengers Crossover
When Brazilian artist Matheus watched Monsters Inc., he realized that Sully actually had a lot of similarities with The Hulk which led him to create this crossover movie poster.
Aside from Sully though, we can also see the resemblance of Buzz Lightyear with Iron Man, Merida as Hawkeye, and Elastigirl as Black Widow.
MatheusBOliveira2. When Anna and Elsa go to Hogwarts
Now, before you question why the Frozen characters are in the houses they're in, the artist did give an explanation. According to Anya, the artist, she put Hans in Slytherin because not only was he crafty and cunning but because, obviously, he was the villain.
She then put Elsa in Ravenclaw because Ravenclaws had no time for stupidity and ignorance. And this was apparent in Elsa's reaction to Anna and Hans announcing their engagement.
Lastly, Anna and Kristoff are both in Hufflepuff because of their loyalty.
Eira18933. Prince Ariel everybody
Ariel has always been the pretty little mermaid with flowing red hair and a seashell bikini top. But as a man, we think she looks a lot better than Prince Eric.
Also, would you look at how adorable the gender-swapped Flounder is?
sakimichan4. Princesses in DC
Someone has also made a DC x Disney crossover and we got to say, they're pretty on the dot. Princess Jasmine with her strong personality is perfect as Wonder Woman and Ariel with her sweet temperament is also great as Starfire.
malinamnam5. Mulan in all her glory
While the Disney version of Mulan's fight scene with the Hans was amazing, this version sums up her strength and fierceness that the movie couldn't exactly do. And we're living for it.
adlovett6. A Game of Thrones Among Princesses
Game of Thrones and Disney? Those two are so far apart that we just never thought they'd work.
Sure, there's royalty, nobility, and all the fictional stuff but how about mixing such a bloody world with such a child-friendly one doesn't seem to be a thing. And yet, here we are.
Strangely, it works.
SamTsui7. Robin Hood becomes a bit bolder
This fan art is just a perfect representation of the character given that it brings out his true nature. He was a fighter through and through and that we can see in this image.
StuArtStudios8. All glammed up
Hannah Alexander, the artist behind these, decided to do her own take on what she imagines these Disney characters should have worn and you know what? We're absolutely loving it.
No offense to the original animators but these look a hell of a lot better. In fact, if someone walked in these dresses on the red carpet, they'd be the star of the night.
Hannah-Alexander9. The kind of coupling we'd want to watch
Hades and Maleficent - they're a match made in hell and that's what makes this pairing absolutely perfect. Just think of all the nefarious things they could come up with.
They'd probably be unstoppable and they might even get to have the villains score for once.
Precia-T10. A realistic Peter Pan
Aside from the realistic nature of this iteration, what we love most about this fan art is that little splash of rebelliousness we see from Pan. It's not something you'd ever see in any Disney version of him but it gives him a fresh new edge.
Sweetcidia11. A dreamy time in Frozen
The artist behind this put Elsa in a 3-D fantasy world and showed off a more mature side to her. And it's a true sight to behold.
shibashake12. A more mystical side to Brave
The artist behind this image is fond of doing artworks where the hero or heroine of the story has their back turned towards the audience and is looking into a pivotal part of their story. And we got to say, their concept of creates a more impactful scene to behold.
It's like that breath you hold before the climax of the story.
Westling13. It's just a tale as old as time
Those of us who still remember the ballroom scene in the animated version of Beauty and The Beast know just how gorgeous the scene really was. it's the part that showed that they were really meant for each other.
This fan art not only shows them in the same clothes in that scene but it evokes the same emotion as well.
Wictorian-Art14. Disney brings about the end
This is one of the most unique and original artworks we've seen so far of any Disney characters and we absolutely love the detail and the story it creates all on its own. It brings about more drama and a more serious note on all these Disney characters' stories.
MattRhodesArt15. Pocahontas in manga
What we love about this artist's manga portrayal of Pocahontas is the way the innocence of the character shines which makes it a more accurate picture of the true story behind the film.
What's more insane is that it was actually the artist's first time painting in a manga style. And it turned out amazing.
JoJoesArt16. These two worlds were meant to be
We're not sure what it is about these two worlds but they are the perfect match and crossover for each other.
Pierre-Armand Nicq17. Tiana and her weapon
Tiana was already quite the headstrong character but this rendition of hers as a part of the world of Kingdom Hearts just brings her to a new level. She even got her own keyblade and suit.
She just looks ready to take on some enemies and she'll look fabulous while doing it.
Explosion18. Under the sea
Seeing how nothing changes in the love between these two whichever worlds they are in, we think Ariel of The Little Mermaid would be quite proud. They've fought for love just like her and it seems that under the sea, they're winning it without any Hades to ruin the moment in sight.
FERNL19. The hook that'll haunt you
Captain Hook in the animated film looked villainous but he was also amusing. This take on him though makes him a lot more terrifying to look at.
He looks like he'll really tear you inside out with his hook if you just say one word wrong in his presence.
martinezdezign20. The beautiful and powerful Hades
We don't know about you but this female form of the god of the underworld looks a lot more devious that his male form. She looks like she'll lure you in with her sultry looks and then just suddenly tear your heart out if she so wishes.
sakimichan21. Arendelle meets Asgard
This fan art is not only a wonderful gender swap but an amazing crossover as well. One of the genius things about this crossover is Elsa getting to be Loki who, if you've watched his background in the MCU, is actually a frost giant.
Pinterest22. Sally gets dressed up
Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas getting a pin-up makeover but apparently this artist did and their fan art didn't disappoint. Sure, it's a far cry from the Sally we know but nevertheless, it's a lovely reimagining of the character.
Pinterest23. Twisted Rapunzel
This picture is part of artist Jeff Thomas' twisted princess series where he reimagines our favorite Disney princesses in horrific situations and also comes up with a story to go along with it.
In this story, Rapunzel becomes a rage-filled and vengeful young woman after she discovers that Mother Gothel and the Stabbington brothers forcefully sent Flynn away which causes her to be heartbroken. When she learns of what they've done, her anger causes her to kill Mother Gothel and one of the Stabbington brothers.
jeftoon0124. The live-action that was meant to be
We all know that Disney recently did a live-action version of The Lion King. However, no offense to the animators of that but this version looks a lot more fitting for the film.
Edgar Gomez is the man behind this artwork and his work is just so amazingly detailed that it feels like you're staring at the three lions in reality.
EdgarGomezArt25. The true king of the jungle
What we absolutely love about this fan art is that this version of Tarzan is more part-man and part-ape. It's an intriguing and more realistic take on a man who supposedly grew up in the jungle living the life of apes.
StriderDen26. Queen Alice It Seems
This is one of the most beautiful iterations of Alice In Wonderland and here, she looks like the queen of wonderland. She looks more mature, more elegant, and more sure of herself.
Also, we love how the artist subtly put in the other characters of the film like Mad Hatter trailing behind her, the Cheshire cat up on the tree, and the white rabbit's clock below Alice. Every corner you look, there's just a treat waiting.
Wictorian-Art27. The clock is ticking closer to midnight
This dance scene was the pivotal moment for Cinderella in the film and the artist for this picture has given the scene a more magical feel through those ethereal lights and the sparkles on Cinderella's dress.
kelogsloops28. Red carpet ready princess
The artist behind this who hails from Spain has a series of paintings where they reimagine Disney princesses in designer gowns. And every single one of them is just absolutely breathtaking in formal wear.
Her take on Ariel is absolutely gorgeous since her hair beautifully contrasts with her dress and the color of her dress is the color of the deep sea.
~winderly29. Snow White Sith
We've never thought of crossing over princesses into the Star Wars universe but since they're both Disney property, it does make sense. Here, we have Snow White crossing over to the dark side.
Ralph Sevelius, the man behind the art, even took inspiration from Snow White's nemesis, the evil queen, for her look.
Comic book movie30. Disney's spice girls
This absolutely unique artwork was created by Isaiah Stephens who reimagines Disney princesses and princes as late 90s and early 2000s pop stars. For the Spice Girls, he portrayed Mulan as Sporty Spice, Ariel as Ginger Spice, Megara as Posh Spice, Aurora as Baby Spice, and Kida as Scary Spice.
CosmopolitanThese artists are simply amazing for creating these artworks. And they're not great just because of the quality of the work but the ideas they've come up with.
Seriously, who would have ever thought of crossing over princesses into Star Wars or into real pop stars, right? Very few people would have and out of those few, only fewer would have the artistic skills to actually draw up a picture.
That's what makes these people and the art they create so special. Which one was your favorite?
