UnknownInteractive photo filters are everywhere nowadays, but Snapchat still never fails to lure us back in with its innovative filters. Do you want to turn your dog into a Disney character? Snapchat will give you that opportunity even though you didn't really ask for it.
Lately, the internet has been going nuts over this "Disney filter", however, it technically has nothing to do with Disney because it's officially called a “cartoon face” filter. But we're still free to call it whatever we want because the art style it offers is quite recognizable to most Disney fans.
Danielle Sugden is a Facebook user who recently discovered this filter and decided to try it on on her doggies, and the results she got are honestly way too cute.
The filter worked amazingly on her adorable puppers and gave them the cutest exaggerated puppy eyes. The app actually only detects the dog's eyes and gives them a whole new look. The rest generally stays the same, but the difference is noticeable nonetheless.
The app will also use facial recognition to allow various facial expressions to occur, generally focusing on the eyes. Even if a dog squirts or closes its eyes, it will recognize that change and apply it to the filter. The possibilities are endless considering a large amount of dog breeds out there.
She shared the results she got with the app on the Dogspotting Society Facebook group and it was seen by thousands of people, getting over 14,000 reactions 3,000 shares and 5,500 comments in less than 24 hours. After that, several people on the group also decided to try it out, and things got even better.
People also figured out that this filter is actually designed for humans but thankfully, it also works on most dog breeds and that's all that really matters. So technically, it should also work on cats and several other pets, it would be really interesting to see people try it on different kinds of pets.
