The cartoon characters that we grew up watching helped shape our personalities and taught us a lot of important life lessons. They were our friends, teachers, and idols and even though they are now long gone, they will always remain in our hearts.
Nevertheless, they represent an exaggerated version of human life, but that doesn't make them immortal unless they're actually represented as being immortal. The cartoon characters below are definitely NOT immortal and they're obviously long gone by now, so it's time too remember them and pay a little homage to them.
They're gone from our lives forever but never gone from our hearts.
1. Ms. Finster (Recess)
She unfortunately died of heart failure about three years ago.
2. Old Man Jenkins (Spongebob)
I mean he's OLD MAN Jenkins, he obviously can't live forever
3. Spike (Rugrats)
Dogs have short lifespans and it's been decades so he's obviously long dead.
4. Pluto the Pup (Disney)
Exact same thing here.
5. Scooby Doo
Scooby snacks are not that healthy.
6. Clifford the Big Red Dog
Being a giant doesn't make you immortal.
7. Eustance (Courage The Cowardly Dog)
Murial is better off anyways, being grumpy all the time shortens your lifespan.
8. Sidetable Drawer (Blues Clues)
He was killed by the Police for not co-operating
9. Gullah Gullah Island frog
Gone but not forgotten
10. Biggie Cheese
According to viral meme, he died in a drive-by
Rest In Peace Brother
11. Stick Stickly (Nickelodeon)
He's not even a living being
12. Tommy Pickles' Grandparents (Rugrats)
They're obviously dead, come on.
13. Dagget and Norbert (Angry Beavers)
"Beavers have a lifespan of 10-15 years in the wild, and can live to 20 years in captivity."
14. Ms. Fowl (Jimmy Neutron)
Who cares anyways? She was lonely and annoying.
15. Patchy the Pirate (Spongebob)
Gone from our lives forever, but never gone from our hearts.
16. Chip Skylark (Fairly Oddparents)
Drug overdose, obviously.
