There are so many benefits that comes with getting a cat and every feline owner can testify to that. They are also aware that going to the restroom by yourself is never the same after owning a cat.

Whether it is in the middle of the night or early in the morning, our cats always keep an eye on us to make sure we're safe while we go potty. We find this behavior endearing although it can occasionally be intrusive.

Most of the time, though, these cute buddies of ours take our underwear and turn it into their own little kitten hammock. We know that sometimes, they perch themselves like tiny cuties in the sink but this is entirely different.

As you can see, cats are pawsitive about their lack of understanding of personal space. They believe they own everything, including your undergarments and any furniture you may have.

So a cat can come to sit next to you only because they're taking up residence on their furniture. The fact that it's convenient for you to pet them is incidental and you don't have a choice.
