This chicken won’t give up so easily, she has no clucks to give for the officers just doing their jobs.

Well, if you think that it’s just humans that can be lawless, then you need to think again because Laya is here to prove you wrong. And yes, Laya is a chicken – a lawless one at that.
On a certain bright day, Justin Caffes and his friend were driving close to their home in Rochester, Minnesota, when an inquisitive sight caught their attention. On a generally calm and quiet street, a strained standoff was in progress between a police officer and an improbable suspect.
Caffes says that he saw a police vehicle in the street only to look down and see a chicken. Yes, it was odd, but this was just the beginning of the fun.
Caffes and his friend looked on as the cop moved toward the bird. But, the hoodlum chicken clearly concluded that she wouldn't be taken in with so much ease.
So she ran off, and the cop began pursuing the chicken. Caffes said that the chicken showed little hesitance about resisting arrest and she was, by all accounts, having a good time getting pursued.
The video (which you’ll get to watch below) closes suddenly, but that is not exactly the end. Caffes and his friend chose to assist the officer by capturing the feathered culprit and putting her under arrest.
He also adds that a couple of them finally caught the chicken after around 10 minutes, and the police officer was having a great time.
An Officer with a chicken that is resisting arrest
JUSTIN CAFFESFortunately, neither the chicken nor any other person involved in the group was harmed in the hot pursuit. The chicken was then stacked into a pet carrier and put in the back of the cop's patrol vehicle.
The pursuit was done and dusted, but reinforcements actually showed up.
In any case, it was simply the chicken who triumphed at last.
JUSTIN CAFFESYes, Caffes said that five cop vehicles appeared just to laugh at their colleagues. The police were fortunate enough to find the owners of the chicken, who resided only a couple of miles away, and they securely brought her back.
The bird was let off the hook with only a warning, but it was not really a mishap that she was away from home.
The chicken was put into a pet carrier and kept in the back of the cop's patrol vehicle.
JUSTIN CAFFESSpeaking to the owner's neighbor, Zach Piens, who, in some cases, babysits the hen, it was found out that the chicken's name is Laya, and that this isn't her first time going on such adventures. At some point before this incident, she got a ride into town by hiding at the back of the family's truck, after which she should have been rounded up.
Here is the funny moment on video:
It is likewise believed she did the same thing this time around, but now that the cops have become involved, maybe finally, Laya has learned her lesson. Piens hopes that this will be her last city trip, and we hope so too.
