8 Celebrities Confess Their Own Celebrity Crushes

Crushes are a universally shared experience, but that doesn't make them any less embarrassing.

You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who has never had a celebrity crush. Even more so for someone who’s never had a crush at all!

Crushes can be so uncomfortable if you have to interact with your crush on a regular basis. The butterflies in your stomach, sweaty palms, not knowing what to say, or saying really embarrassing things on accident.

School years were extra difficult because of crushes, in my humble opinion. On top of the regular crush feelings, you also have to deal with the fact that you and everyone else are going through puberty, too.

Maybe that’s why we love to crush on celebs since realistically we’ll never have to interact with them in real life. We can drift away in our daydreams, where our interactions are smooth and witty, and they inevitably end up reciprocating our feelings.

However, celebs are just like us regular folks, and they’re also susceptible to crushes. But living among other famous people, they’re more likely to interact or even work with their celebrity crush.

So, in the spirit of secretly pining for someone, we decided to collect stories from celebrities who have shared their own celebrity crushes. Surprisingly a lot of Game of Thrones ladies had the hots for Friends actors, and unsurprisingly, America's sweetheart, Chris Evans was a secret crush on another celeb.

1. Helen Mirren's secret crush: Vin Diesel

Helen Mirren shared in an interview that she has a crush on Vin Diesel: “He was just so smart and so funny and so cool, and I just sort of fell a little bit in love with him right there and then. Vin, I love you.”

2. Emilia Clarke's secret crush: Matt LeBlanc

Emilia Clarke had a crush on Matt LeBlanc, and when she met him on The Graham Norton Show she asked him to use his famous line on her. LeBlanc's “How you doin’?” caused her to turn bright red, and admitted the iconic line still works.

3. Sophie Turner's secret crush: Matthew Perry

Another Game of Thrones actress, Sophie Turner, shared a story about her celebrity crush, Matthew Perry, saying, “I would walk around the corner every day to go to my local supermarket, and I would see Matthew Perry...” Her flirting technique didn’t pan out as hoped, as she tried to offer him a light for his already light cigarette “so, that was just embarrassing.”

4. Selena Gomez' secret crush: Chris Evans

In 2015, Selena Gomez confirmed that she had a crush on Chris Evans: “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute? He’s very cute.” But to her credit, who doesn't think he's very cute?

5. Kristen Stewart's secret crush: Amy Adams

In an interview, Kristen Stewart shared that Amy Adams was not only a coworker: “And Amy Adams, man, she’s my favorite actress. I have a total crush on her because I got to work with her too — she’s awesome.”

6. Cole Sprouse's secret crush: Jennifer Aniston

Cole Sprouse told Stephen Colbert about his crush on Jennifer Aniston. The two worked together filming the show Friends.

Sprouse shared: “I was so intimidated by my crush on her that I completely blanked and forgot every single one of my lines and she just stared at me and was waiting.”

7. Jennifer Lawrence's secret crush: Timothée Chalamet

Jennifer Lawrence shared with ET that she thinks Timothée Chalamet is not just talented but also attractive: “Timothée, I’m waiting for him to get a little bit older, you know? [I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter, and then I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30.”

8. Matthew McConaughey's secret crush: Susan Sarandon

During an interview with W Magazine, Matthew shared that Susan Sarandon is still one the prettiest women for him: “Her pores are large, and 'Woman' comes out of her and honesty comes out of her. I just find her very crushable.”
