Even these shrewd and intelligent critters fall for bait, as more than 162K members of the community have demonstrated with their trap-setting abilities.

In this online forum, members focus on highlighting strange cat behavior such as cats burrowing into or curling up in odd places. In spite of the moderators' description, which reads "cats in boxes," you'll see in this collection that felines make use of any limited space they can find.

In reality, the cheeky or mischievous behavior of cats may be driven by the cat's survival instincts, an illness or adverse effects from medication, Dr. Lewis said.

The doctor added that if you see  your beloved feline scouring your kitchen counters for food crumbs;

She might have an artificially increased appetite from illnesses like an overactive thyroid, diabetes, or medications like steroids.

In other cases, food might be totally out of the question. Instead;
