45 Photos And Memes Characterizing The Dystopian Capitalistic Society We're Drowning In

Capitalism has sped up human civilization and economic growth. There is no question about it.

However, for many years, the unreliability of this growth, as well as its performance and the fairness with which the system distributes its growing wealth, have all been criticized. Memes have recently been used to accomplish this.

The fact that capitalism isn't completely broken makes it difficult for its supporters to engage in constructive dialogue about it. But, in terms of material living conditions, capitalism has done pretty well for most workers over the course of economic history.

However, many people believe that capitalism has failed in recent years. One of the major reasons we can say capitalism is failing is that it cannot provide a reasonable wage to those looking for work.

They also believe that the entire capitalist system is inherently biased against workers. And, despite short-term trade union victories, the capitalists retained power and ultimate control over workers' time.

This probably led to the creation of the Facebook page "General Strike." This interesting and thought-provoking internet initiative has proven to be impactful to over 50,000 people who follow it by addressing both capitalism's theoretical structure and how it affects people's daily lives.

So can we jump right into it and take a closer look at its content? Aye!

While some argue that capitalism's goal is for capitalists to assert sovereignty over workers' time and lives, others believe it has done so fairly well. However, over the last decade, both the populist right and the socialist left have vigorously questioned and challenged the logic of markets and the workings of capitalism.
