Lost And Found: The Story Of Derinkuyu's Underground Metropolis

Just another case of "AITA" from someone who is, in fact, TA.
There are a lot of joys when being in a relationship. You get hugs and kisses, sweet words, dinner dates, picnic dates, random sending of memes, and most of all, you give each other gifts!
Sure, it sounds like you are living outside a storybook or it actually feels like a dream come true. While that is somehow true, however when it does not work between you two… have you ever wondered what will happen to the things you’ve exchanged or left in their house?
It’s screaming a huge awkward situation if you still want to deal with your recent ex-partner on anything, but hey, let’s be practical, would you really not get back your iPhone or PS4, or what you have there that costs so much?
But anyway, let’s go back to the first question. Because this is the question @u/elisef27 is trying to ask.
Today’s AITA features two ex-lovers. The OP, who has her ex’s things back at her place, and the ex-boyfriend, who wants to get his things back.
But there's a case in point: OP was actually the one who’s at fault—because, guess what, she cheated. But now, she refuses to ship her ex-boyfriend's things back because apparently, it's too much work.
That was fast. Are done here now?
We were always taught to return things if they aren’t ours, right? But maybe this time, OP, was just trying to get away with it by not “communicating” with her ex-boyfriend anymore.
Nevertheless, let’s not be like OP in the part where she doesn’t return her ex’s things. It might be important to the person and making excuses that make it look like she doesn’t want to get involved with her ex again is kind of lame.
It’s a lesson learned. If the relationship has ended, close the deal, give back what’s rightfully theirs, and move on.
