It's not just a job to him, it's an art form and you'll love it.
Dying your dog to your taste is an extreme option, and I’m sure the cost is as well. However, there are numerous advantages to dying your animal companion so that he or she looks distinguished.
The main reason is that it discourages dognappers from trying to take your dog because the dye job makes the little furry friend too easily spottable. Second, animal behaviorists claim that dyed dogs are generally happier compared to others because they receive more praise and attention from humans through our facial expressions and the pitch change in our voices—for example, when they’re walking down the street, people who aren’t particularly fond of dogs now stop and say hello because they’ve become a walking piece of art.
Meet Gabriel Feitosa, a professional dog groomer who has won awards for his incredible work with dying animals. It's more than a job to him; it's an art form that he thoroughly enjoys engaging in.
He snips, brushes, cleans, and dyes dogs to make them look even better than they already do. He is based in San Diego, CA, but his customers come from all over the country.
He was recently visited by an adorable Chihuahua mix who desired a magical transformation. Molly, the adorable dog, and her mom flew in from Northern California just to experience Feitosa's fantastic grooming hands, and they were not disappointed in what they got in the end.
The dog's before photo above clearly looks like a sad mug shot as Molly was not being her best self. Molly looks happier than ever in the after photo, which depicts a magical creature straight out of a Lisa Frank design and we love to see it!
Viewers are completely smitten, with one commenting that he would definitely have that dog in an elementary school folder if it were the 1990s. Another person stated that she doesn't care how much she would pay to have her dog dyed like Molly.

One viewer commented, “I 100% had that dog on an elementary school folder, because 🎶it was the nineties 🎶.” Gabriel Feitosa can capture not only Lisa Frank's styles but also other beloved 1990s creatures like Pokémon and Sailormoon, which he has replicated in adorable dogs.
If this video clip inspires you to plan your dog's next grooming session, look for Molly's energetic tail wag as proof that her colorful spa day was a Lisa Frank success. There is really no better way to treat our furry friends who love us unconditionally.
