Bartender Kicked A Nazi Out Of His Bar And Explained Why It Is Essential To Do So

On the list of “Things You Hope Society Would Have Gotten Rid of By Now”, Nazis are high on that list. The Second World War ended decades and decades ago, although unfortunately the Nazi ideology has not—and has instead evolved with the times.

This sucks, obviously. Additionally, one of the major things that modern day Nazis, and other people on the far-right are huge proponents of, is free speech.

Now, in most democratic countries, people do have a right to free speech. However, they should not be given a platform to perform hate speech.

This simple story shows why it is essential to shut down Nazis, before they even have the chance to get settled in and complain about free speech.

Recently, a thread was posted on Twitter explaining the story

Under an (excellent) thread by @birdpoems on Twitter about how the alt-right is able to weaponise free speech ideals, @iamragesparkle posted a story of his own.

People who say "I'm a paying customer" are never good news...

Turns out... it was a Nazi.

The bartender continued to explain his rationale for kicking out a seemingly polite customer...

If you allow one, all of a sudden there's an infestation.

They claim they deserve "free speech" but really they just want hate and violence.

People loved the thread

Apparently, it is a common story among bartenders.

And the same for tattoo parlours.

Let one in innocently, and all of a sudden they're all in.

Free speech does NOT mean hate speech.

Always remember: silence is violence.
