There are around 2,000 elephants living in the wild in Thailand, and one of them made headlines all over the world. A young elephant was filmed in Chiang Mai, perpetrating the naughtiest “crime” ever—the lively elephant was munching on some sugarcanes in a cultivated field when it was approached by locals.

They caught him by surprise, and the poor animal did the only thing it could. Trying to avoid detection, the endearing baby elephant hid behind a thin post, making the locals and thousands of people on the Internet laugh their heads off. Take a look at his clumsy and adorable disappearing act.
