Surgery is, thank God, something that most of us only know from the movies. The procedure where the nurse puts in IV and attaches the mask, and the doctor asks the patient to count down from ten, is what people who never had surgery imagine it to be.
But, according to one Twitter user, it's not like that at all, at least it wasn't for him. The nurse said, "goodbye," and it was lights out. It seems the method of counting down to check if the drugs are working is outdated and rarely used these days.
