How One Mom's Hilarious Anger-Filled Rant To Adopt-Out Her Rooster Teaches Us All A Lesson

Not all house pets are created equal and not every human realizes it before it's too late.

Even when considering "normal" pets like cats and dogs it can be easy for humans to get in way over their head but when it comes to slightly more obscure animals being taken in, it can really be a kick in the butt when the reality and gravity of one's situation settles in.

Which of course is precisely what happened to one woman in particular when she realized what a huge mistake it was for her to bring home a rooster. Despite what appears to be evidently clear from Denell McCaul's Facebook profile her status as a die-hard animal lover had a line and that line was crossed when her epic and anger-fueled rant about her pet rooster went viral.

Right off the bat Denell says that the rooster is "free to a good home," but she's not beyond tossing in a few bucks herself to get it gone as quickly as possible.

Fair warning, by the way, her rant is NSFW but it's hilarious and definitely a must-read.

Denell wrote at great length:

FREE to good home. Well, any home really. At this point I don’t give a shit what kind of home this inconsiderate jerk goes to: ASSHOLE ROOSTER. He’s the perfect rooster if your alarm is broken and you need to be awake at 5:30 a.m. That is his only setting, 5:30…

And that's definitely not where the rant ended...

Not everyone appreciates a "cock-clock."HK Sculptures

Denell continued...

He has no snooze button but will be quiet just long enough for you to fall back to sleep and then he’ll start back up with his obnoxious cock-a-doodle-doing right outside of your windows. It’s like he knows where you sleep and can zone in on that particular window so maybe he has some sort of special x-ray vision where he can see sleeping people behind walls. He is also a perfect rooster if you want to start running… around your yard… while you’re trying to get away from him.

...And continued...

So, if you’re looking for an alarm clock with the only setting being 5:30 a.m., a personal trainer and a dance instructor, I have the perfect rooster that is able to fill all 3 of those positions FOR FREE! But you’re coming out to catch this asshole, I want to see your first interpretive dance lesson.

Just look at that face.

So, what did we learn from Denell's misery? Know what you're getting into. Roosters are kind of notorious for this behavior.

I don't know about you but this rooster seems pretty awesome. I'd adopt him in a heartbeat! Less than perfect animals are always being dumped on the street or in shelters. For example, these cats are FAR from perfect but they still found a beautiful loving home despite their very obvious flaws.
