It's been more than two years since Adele's most recent album, '30,' was released.
Fans have been wondering when they can expect some new music from their favorite artist.
But Adele has been busy with her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace since it began in November 2022.
The singer was recently recorded at one of her Vegas shows saying, "I just don't think I'm gonna write an album for quite some time."
Adele followed up by promising, "But next time I do, I'll come to wherever it is you live."
In October, Adele announced she would be extending her Vegas residency, which is now set to end in June 2024.
"This residency, these shows have changed my life."
"I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have."
"I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have."
Adele's residency was initially postponed amid the Covid pandemic, but it has been wildly successful since it began. "It was actually a bit traumatizing," the singer said.
"It was a real labor of love on another level because of what had happened with the initial show." Adele is proudly involved in all aspects of the production of her shows.
"I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have," Adele said. We love that for her, and we can't wait to hear some new music from this truly unique artist.
