Actors are unique because of their ability to change into other people. However, what’s it like when the other person they're changing into is themselves?
Fascinating right? There are so many famous British and Irish actors in Hollywood who are different from the people the mainstream media knows them as and sometimes, the contrast between who everyone knows them as and who they are in the United Kingdom and Ireland is too hilarious for words.
Americans may know an actor as a total hunk, only to watch them in a television show or movie produced in their home country and see them entirely differently.
While we love these actors – because who doesn’t? We can’t help but find the transitions hilarious and shocking at the same time. It took us a while to recognize them, and if you are not a fan of TV shows produced in the UK or Ireland, you will feel the same way.
