Suzette Hall gets messages each day concerning stray dogs in Irvine, California. But one day, she got a pressing request about a dog who had been thrown from a car on the railroad tracks, and she knew she had to do something.
The dog in question is a black Lab mix, and he refused to move from the last place where he’d spotted his owners. Even though it was dangerous to remain on the train tracks, he still laid down there where they left him and waited.
Despite the fact that he was hungry, he didn’t go to find food just in case his family came looking for him. Hall says that dogs will "always wait when they’re dumped because they’re so loyal and they think that the person is coming back."
Still, Hall was scared that a train would hit him. The girl who initially saw him said it seemed as if he wouldn’t move until the train was nearly there.
Hall arrived at the train tracks and found the dog exactly where the good Samaritan said he’d be. She added that "at first, he got up and started to run, but I threw chicken his way and it made him stop," as he was very hesitant and scared.
Hall then decided to set a trap for him by placing chicken and hot dogs inside a cage. Then she went to hide in order not to scare the dog.

SUZETTE HALLShe became concerned that it might take some time for him to risk going for the food. Hall says that "Sometimes when I’m trapping a dog, it feels like I’m watching paint dry because it can take a long time."
Hall set up a trap in order to rescue him
SUZETTE HALLShe sleeps in her car just to rescue a dog due to the fact that she doesn’t give up. Luckily for Hall, the abandoned dog was already so hungry that after she returned a couple of minutes later, he was secured in the trap.
Hall chose the name "Soldier" for the dog, and quickly drove him to her vet to have him checked.
"I don't give up while I'm on a mission to rescue a dog"
SUZETTE HALLSoldier, the dog, has been at the Camino Pet Hospital and Hall, on the other hand, scurries around to find him a caring foster home. There, the adorable dog is receiving medicated baths and lots of meals.
He has even started wagging his tail whilst being petted by the vet technicians.

SUZETTE HALLThis abandoned dog will get a whole new family who will love him as a devoted companion and give him all the good things of life he merits. It can take a little more time for him to get adopted, but then Soldier is glad to wait it out as he has so much love to give.
