This man adapted his home and turned it into a "cat house" so I guess you could say the bar has been raised for the rest of us (in the best ways possible.)

Peter Cohen designed his house entirely arranged to his cats' needs and comfortable life. It all started in 1988 when he bought himself a house in Santa Barbara, California, and carried for two felines friends who were beautiful outdoor cats.
Unfortunately, they both ended up hit by a car. That tragedy hit him badly, but it also motivated him to create a safe and comfortable place for cats.
He thought if cats have everything they need indoors, they will not have to go outside. And that means cats will be as safe as possible, without the possibility of unpredictable tragedies.
His love for cats leads him to the most awesome idea ever. He began making plans of making some interesting rooms for cats, a playground adapted especially for them, toys that would keep them entertained, etc.
He researched the best methods of building this magnificent project and started making a cat's house step by step. He figured out the major was to build them catwalks, so he did.
First, he built walkways on the walls, then he added various remarkable caves, tunnels, perches, ramps, portholes, and all you can imagine for cats to play, limitless explore, and of course, take a comfortable nap. He really thought of everything a cat could ever need.
He totally transformed his home into a cat's dream home. And the more his project progressed, the more cats he adopted. Now, he is a founder of ZenByCat and a proud owner of more than 20 cats fellows enjoying this fairytale house, made exclusively for them. Let's take a look at his outstanding project.
1. Meet Peter Cohen.
zenbycat2. He is a prime example of being a cat person.
zenbycat3. He is also the creator of “The House of Nekko”.
zenbycat4. Peter has entirely adapted his house into a house for cats.
zenbycat5. Every cat would like to live in this cats' castle...
zenbycat6. because every inch in the house is used for some cats' activities.
zenbycat7. He built catwalks all over the walls.
zenbycat8. Also, cats always have food, so they can eat anytime they want.
zenbycat9. They even have separate food containers, so any conflict has already been avoided.
zenbycat10. There are many spiral staircases all around the house.
zenbycat11. Cats adore climbing up and down these stairs.
zenbycat12. Even the bathroom is specially adjusted.
zenbycat13. There is a hamster wheel, clearly for cats.
zenbycat14. The plants' purpose is to give them an outside feeling.
zenbycat15. Everything looks so natural and pleasant.
zenbycat16. The house is full of natural light.
zenbycat17. As you can see, they can take a nap everywhere, for this is a house particularly made for them.

zenbycat23. "FIP Warrior"
One of his cats, named Peanut, was diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), and unfortunately, he died of it. Since there is no treatment for this incurable disease, Petar started a new mission - raise attention and money for FIP, to help find a cure.
zenbycat24. Whether you are a dog person, you must admire his creation when you see a cat so calm setting and enjoying thanks to him.
zenbycat25. Enjoying with his owner.
zenbycat26. Cats even have their own blankets,
zenbycat27. And a lot of their own pillows.
zenbycat28. All cats are getting along with each other.
zenbycat29. Although there are enough rooms and places, they prefer sitting together.
zenbycat30. A purrfect cat tree.
31. Here is just a piece of this wonderful cats house.
"We humans cannot solve so many big problems, but we can solve little ones. Each cat we adopt from a shelter is one more sentient being that now has a home and love and care. It is that simple", said Cohen.
