Student and Prinicap Create One Of The Most Legendary Yearbook Photos With Special Guests: A Cat and Chihuahua

Student joins principal to showcase one of the best yearbook photos out there.

Do people really want to be remembered by a boring high school yearbook photo? Well, Draven Rodriguez is a New York senior who said his wish was to "leave a legacy" and that's how he thought of this amazing plan. His fluffy rescue cat was a perfect partner to create one of the best yearbook photos out there.

However, Draven wasn't really sure if the school was going to accept his master plan. Eventually, he started a petition online as he knew the Internet would be of his help. His background was set with laser beams and he got over 7k signatures very quickly. Although, he never needed to use those signatures to his advantage. The principal was 100% up for it as well.

She even loved the idea that much that she wanted to join in with her own pet chihuahua. She also stated to ABC News: “I think when it went viral, it kind of came to me that it was such an amazing, awesome picture I wanted to find a way to support Draven,”.

Draven's photo with his cat would be on a senior class page while the picture where they're all together would feature on principals Wilkinson's page. They also mentioned a good cause in the note that both Wilkinson and Rodriguez value quite highly. They believe it's crucial to help rescue animals, and we definitely agree with them.

The publicity gained from these photos and the story itself was enough for people to send a significant amount of money to the school. And, the best part is that everything will be given to a local animal shelter.
