Many find peace and harmony through religion; spirituality can add a missing aspect to one's life and help one overcome the most prominent challenges. Sadly, some people don't stop there and enjoy their new life; instead, they make their life mission to get more people to be like them. 

Each person is different, and if one solution works for someone, it doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Despite that, some religious people never stop trying to compel more people to their side and ignore many aspects.

Anything that feels forced will often get faced with rejection. The more you push, the stronger the resistance will be.

A Redditor who goes by the username u/Stoupe_k made a post on the r/AmItheAhole subReddit where he explained how he snapped at his wife after repeatedly asking him to accompany her to church. The user eventually had enough of her constant requests, which led him to lose his temper and react in a way he ended up second doubting, which led him to consult with the Reddit community.

The wife can do her recruiting elsewhere.

That logic doesn't work for everyone.

No means no. It's as simple as that.

Op's wife still kept trying to change his mind.

OP should make it clear to his wife that he never intends to go with her.

Sometimes harassment is encouraged amongst some groups.

OP was clear from the start, but his wife refused to take no for an answer.

OP is ready to work on this new reality if his wife is willing to.

Whatever the wife decides, life will still go on.

OP's wife was being pushy and disrespectful.

It's always annoying when you have to repeat yourself.
