We are back again today with yet another Reddit post from the AITA thread where people come to get unbiased advice and overall just opinions on their situation. A lot of people comment on these posts often to give their opinions and their similar experiences to the OP.

Getting advice and a different perspective is sometimes best from someone in an unbiased position. Overall, we enjoy looking at the different points of view and seeing things that people are going through in their personal life.

With all this being said, we are diving into a post where a guy wants to know if he's the AH for telling his wife a lie about what AWD (all-wheel drive) stands for as a joke. His wife didn't at all think it was funny because she believed him and was genuinely interested in the program he'd mentioned.

Overall, people had a lot to say and we hope that it helps OP see things from her perspective and how much of an AH he sounded like when telling her this. Without further ado, we are going to dive in and take a look at the full post and the best comments people left on it as well.

OP starts off his post by giving us a terrible first impression. He explains him and his wife's dynamic and the car situation.

He explains why she chose this car and how it wasn't the right decision because she made it based on the look. Then he explains the joke that he told her about the AWD badge.

He said that he thought she'd know it was a joke, but that's not at all what happened. She was very upset at him for making this joke.

People immediately came to the comments to let him know that he is indeed TA int his situation. He should have stopped it before it even started.

People quoted him and pointed out all the craziness that he was saying in his post that they took as a red flag.

This person went on to explain why they decided on YTA as their vote and explained a bit on his wife's point of view so he can understand where she's coming from.

This right here set the tone for the entire post and many people already knew where this was going before he explained the full situation.

This is exactly how it sounds to us reading it and we can see right through all his mess. Ultimately, we really do think he's TA.

It does seem like he has some reflecting to do and that he needs to try better to understand his wife's views on life.

Yep. Very simply said but everyone here agrees that he needed to tell his wife about the joke immediately, or he shouldn't have made it in the first place.

We do feel like everyone was on the same page on this one because OP quickly revealed his ways of thinking and just how much of an AH he really was. We hope he apologized to his wife and took some time to look at things from her perspective to better understand her values and ways of thinking.
