Unfortunately, Fern found herself at Cats Protection in Warrington, Cheshire, after her previous owner had to go into care. Despite her unique looks, Fern is hoping to find someone who will love and cherish her.

These cats have earned the moniker "werewolf cats" owing to their distinctive appearance. Their fur presents a peculiar blend of hairless patches interspersed with hairy ones. When these felines adopt specific postures, their fur tends to poof up, evoking the likeness of a werewolf.

Lindsay Kerr, the manager of the adoption center, is reaching out to anyone who believes they could provide love and care to this "sweet" yet uniquely different-looking cat, urging them to step forward and express their interest.

Fern would thrive best in a tranquil home environment without other pets or young children bustling around. Lindsay disclosed, "Sadly, Fern hasn't attracted much interest thus far, despite being a genuinely sweet girl. The shelter environment was proving stressful for her, so she's now staying with one of our fosterers, where she's truly blossomed."
