Mother Goes Off On Her Ex In Public After Hearing Him Talk Bad About Their Son And His Appearance

Welcome back to another post from the AITA Thread that was posted on Reddit. These posts are usually so entertaining to read because they usually get so much engagement and comments from other people.

People mostly come to this thread to find out if they are wrong or right in the way that they reacted or acted in the situation. It's a great place for people to get unbiased opinions and advice on a situation that they are going through.

Sometimes it's just better and easier to get advice from people who don't know you at all and who have no bias toward you or anyone in your story. With that being said, we are going to dive into this situation that was posted by a mom who is looking to see if she's in the wrong for how she reacted to her ex after he said some mean things about their son.

She went off on him in public and isn't sure if her reaction was necessary or not. Ultimately, we are going to dive in and see the whole original post as it was posted by OP, and then we'll also look into some of the best comments that people left her in response.

OP starts off by explaining the situation with her ex, how long they were together and basically just the timeline of everything.

She goes on to explain the situation on what happened when she saw her ex out in public and he began talking to the kids.

Then she said that they were started to get a little heated so she put her foot down and stepped in, but she may have taken things too far.

She went off on him and basically told him how she feels and called him out right there out in public.

She said that after he left, he was upset and told her that she embarrassed him in front of people by yelling at him.

People immediately came to the comments to let her know that she's not in the wrong and that the ex is obviously not a father at all.

I definitely would have let the son continue because I think it's important for the father to know just what his kids think of him.

OP actually replies to this comment and gives a bit more information. She says she would've let her some continue had they not been in public.

People really were on OP's side and let her know that this man is ridiculous. If he had to call his mom after this then that tells us everything we need to know about him.

People were so supportive in the comments for OP and told her that they would love to support her son in everything that he's made for himself.

People really were on OP's side, and we love when that happens. We don't blame her at all for saying what she said, but some of us would have loved to see what the son would have said to the dad.

As she said, though, he will hear what her son has to say eventually. We hope things work out for them.
