Valentine's day can be a real stressor to the average person. There's a lot of Hallmark-worthy expectations that don't seem logical, rational or doable, and I say that as a woman. Why can't we expect the minimum from our lovers, without feeling the need to upload our treasures to Facebook or Instagram, or Snapchat? Why do we feel the need to publicly display these things in order to receive virtual likes from people who are probably just thinking how lame we are at uploading these moments, which should actually be meaningful, in a private setting. Maybe I'm just going off on a tangent, or maybe some of you agree with me here.
While men may have it tough with meeting the expectations that society places on them when it comes to buying the perfect gifts, women have it quite hard as well. Valentine's day doesn't mean that we will be embraced and wholly accepted for our crush on a guy, and some of these women show the sad truth to their findings.
