For every perfect dog pic you see on the Internet, there are probably a thousand pictures of derpy dogs that never get shared or published. And it's not fair. The Internet is full of pictures of those perfect dogs, who look like they just came from the groomers, have perfect posing and an attitude.

But what about the majority of dogs? Our goofy, adorable four-legged friends who couldn't pose for a pic even if their life depended on it? Well, Dogspotting Society's Unflattering Dog Photo Challenge encourages people to share photos of their pooches being derpy, goofy, and simply irresistible.

And let's face it, poses and situations like these are the reason we fell in love with our dogs in the first place. It's not the facade; it's the heart that counts. We've selected 50 of the funniest pictures, and we know you are going to enjoy them.
