It's fair to say that unless you've been living under a rock (no pun intended), you will have seen the drama surrounding Will Smith and Chris Rock unfold over the past week. Things turned sour at the Oscars when Rock made a joke at Will's wife Jada's expense.
The joke made reference to Jada's shaved head. However, Jada and will didn't find it very funny, considering Jada has been diagnosed with Alopecia, which causes hair loss.
Will walked on stage and slapped Chris before returning to his seat and continuing to scream at the comedian. Of course, the altercation made global news, and it's pretty much all we've been hearing about since.
But the feud between Will and Chris is only one among many celebrity conflicts we've seen over the years. Who could forget the famous fight between Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj?
Or the rift between Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson that went on for years? But those are just the tip of the celebrity battles iceberg.
There have been countless rivalries between stars that you may not have even been aware of. So we've put together a list of some of the juiciest ones for your enjoyment.
Have we got your attention yet? Keep scrolling to reflect on 17 random celebrity conflicts we never expected.

Tyson Beckford slammed Kim Kardashian in 2018, saying her body was "not real" and commenting that "a doctor f-ked up on her right hip." Kim bit back by writing, "Sis, we all know why you don't care for it," which was assumed to be a homophobic remark.

Ariana took offense to some of Piers Morgan's comments on female celebrities. The journalist had accused Ellen DeGeneres of "drooling over famous men's bodies" and Little Mix of selling "nudity" instead of music.
Ariana clapped back by tweeting, "Ellen is an incredible & kind human being. I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because I choose to."
"Women can be sexual AND talented, naked and dignified," she continued. "It's OUR choice, and we will keep fighting til people understand," she wrote. "I say this with all due respect but thank u, next."

In 2012, John Hamm said, "Whether it's Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated." And, naturally, Kimmy didn't take the stab lightly.
"I respect Jon, and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life," she tweeted. "We're all working hard, and we all have to respect one another," she continued.
"Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, 'stupid,' is in my opinion, careless," Kim concluded. Don't mess with the Kardashians, Jon!

"I said, 'Well, she can go f—k herself,'" Jacki recalled. "And I thought, 'That's a bit mean and petty.'... I would say she must be going through menopause, but she must have had that ages ago."

However, Priyanka wasn't impressed that the talk show host didn't reach out to her personally. She encouraged Rosie to Google her name in the future or "reach out directly" rather than making an insincere, public apology.
"We ALL deserve to be respected for our unique individuality and not to be referred to as 'someone' or 'wife,' especially in a sincere apology," Priyanka said. "If we can learn to respect our differences in an authentic way, the world we raise our children in will be amazing."
