Like anything in life, there are benefits and drawbacks to having twins. Although most people adore their children and wouldn't trade them for anything, let's face it: carrying twins and raising twins are really challenging.
Therefore, to all of the folks who are always saying things like, "I wish I could get pregnant with twins" or "Lucky you because you have twins," be careful what you wish for. But still, having twins is a beautiful thing.
The OP is a twin, and she reconnected with his twin brother, whom she didn't even know existed. You see, their biological parents died when they were about a year old.
They both went into foster care, where they were adopted separately. OP's parents never told her she had a brother and never attempted for them to spend time together.
Now, the OP is sixteen, and her twin approaches her, which leads to her getting the truth out of her parents. OP has been spending a lot of time with her twin, and they have been bonding very well, which didn't please her parents.
They also don’t like it that the OP has developed an attachment to her birth name, as her twin calls her by that name, and she likes it. OP's grandparents also had a problem with the whole arrangement and gave her three rules that she had to abide by.
These rules didn't make sense to the OP, and her full story is below. So keep scrolling and checking it out.
