Anybody can be in a distressful situation and need help to get out of it. Animals are no exception to this, and big thanks should go to those kind-hearted individuals that go the extra mile to rescue animals in distress situations.
Once upon a time in Palos Verdes, a day at the beach became a life-saving rescue for two young jet skiers. The two men were riding off the coast of Palos Verdes when they noticed what appeared to be a yellow balloon, but as they got closer, they realized it was a helpless Loggerhead turtle fighting for its life.
The two heroes did not hesitate before rescuing the poor creature from the perilous situation it had found itself in! They certainly went home that day with a sense of accomplishment that they had saved the turtle.
Meet Bryce Trevett, who was out on a jet ski with his friend Angel Hernandez off the coast of Palos Verdes when they came across the distressed animal. The two friends were about 12 miles off the coast when they noticed what they thought was trash floating in the water.
They decided to look into it, and as they got closer, they discovered it wasn't just trash, but a turtle tangled in a yellow balloon. The men jumped into the water right away to save the tiny creature.

Surprisingly, this was not the first time Trevett and Hernandez had rescued a loggerhead turtle that had become entangled in a balloon or something else that people had dumped in this body of water.

But it’s all good news in the end that the turtle was freed from the tangles.
