Tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce said he’s ready to get back to “normal” now that football season’s here, after spending a wild summer jetting around with Taylor Swift. The couple shot into the spotlight when they started dating, right in the middle of a massive season for the Chiefs, which ended with their back-to-back Super Bowl win.
Over the summer, fans spotted Kelce in the crowd at Swift’s Eras Tour, belting out her songs. As for his favorite Swift track? Kelce couldn’t pick just one.
They’re all my favorite — literally every single one. You’ll see me at a concert, you’ll see me singing them all.
Kelce reveals in a CBS Mornings interview:
"It's the life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it,"
and adds:
"it comes with the territory."
In other words, he has totally rolled with the whole "ultimate power couple" vibe with girlfriend Taylor Swift. His family also needed to get used to the attention that comes with him dating an iconic celeb.
Everybody's loving it. Mama Kelce…she's having so much fun. My dad is slowly getting more comfortable with it. And Jason has always been a pro at it.
Jason Kelce, the Eagles legend, wrapped up his NFL career with a tearful retirement announcement in March after 13 seasons and a Super Bowl win.
Jason said:
It has always been a goal of mine to play my whole career in one city. And I couldn't have dreamt a better one and a better fit if I tried.
Not yet having set his sights on what lies ahead, he adds:
I don't know what's next, but I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that await. And I know that I carry with me the lessons from my time here and that forever we can all share the bond of being Philadelphians.
Kelce and Jason, who co-host the "New Heights" podcast, recently landed a massive $100 million deal with Amazon's Wondery.
Travis is also grateful toward his brother, saying:
I'm forever grateful for who my brother is in my life. He's always been the guy that I can kind of just lean on. And, uhm, yeah, so a moment like that, where he finally called it quits and hung it up. It was definitely one of the most emotional moments I've had with him.

When asked about why people are cheering for him, he replied:
I would hope it's because they see I'm just a genuinely good person and I love what I do and I love doing it with the people that I -- that I do it with. I'd rather give everybody happiness and something to cheer about.
