Restaurants are designed to be comfortable to a certain extent so people can relax while enjoying their meals in a pleasant environment. Sometimes they are so cozy that people take it a step too far and get even comfier and disturb all the other customers around them.

Leaving a big mess or weird objects after you is just the tip of the iceberg, it can get much worse than that, and the restaurant staff has to deal with it no matter how they feel about it. People take the easy route and leave their mess behind them for someone else to clean and claim that "it's their job," so they don't have the right to complain.

Trashy people will do trashy things wherever they go without caring about how much damage it causes; they even enjoy pissing people off and making them uncomfortable. They have no empathy for other people, and they don't have a problem with making other people feel uncomfortable.
