We're back at it again with another Reddit post that we'll be looking into and this time this one is from the AITA thread which is a thread we look into very often on here. This thread is the perfect place to go if you're looking to get unbiased opinions and advice from people on the internet instead of asking those in your life.
Reddit is the perfect platform to visit because there are people from all walks of life there where you can get many different perspectives to help you out with your situation. So with this being said, we;re looking at a post that was submitted by a fifteen-year-old guy and he's looking to see if he's in the wrong here.
He says his family sues his room as storage for something but he ended up wanting more space for himself and threw some things out. It upset his family because those were their things, but he thinks he's not in the wrong because it was his room.
So many people commented on this to give OP their opinion on the situation. So let's dive in and check out the full post and all of the best comments on it as well.
OP starts off his post and explains the situation with his room and why there are other things in it.
He wanted extra space, so basically he took the initiative and got rid of some of the stuff in his room.
However, of course, his family was upset about this and that's the main reason he's here today to talk to us about whether or not he's in the wrong for this.
The blanket thing is a little weird but also we get that things can be sentimental to some people.
Then he posted an update and explained some of their living situation and what he pays for in the house.
People really looked at this though in a negative way and wondered why he was paying for anything at 15.
He's trying to justify what he did in saying that he pulls his weight there so he should be able to do whatever he wants essentially.
The first comment calls out the fact that he's 15 and paying for a lot of the bills in the house.
TheLastWord63This might be the most fair answer just because we can see both sides in this.
brisemartelOP responded to some of the comments about him paying for things, but he doesn't seem to mind.
GoNoMuMoving it out of the room is one thing but if he threw the stuff out then yes maybe he's in the wrong for that.
LearningEleThere were a lot of opinions on this and OP was very responsive in the comments as he replied to people who had concerns or questions. It seems that there's not too much of an issue here though and he's not that much in the wrong, but people still had a lot to say.
