Woman Seeks Advice Online After Her Roommate's Creepy Boyfriend Tried To Sexually Harass Her In Public
If you've been on Reddit long enough, you'll know that it is a world of its own. People from all walks of life come on the platform to share their stories, seeking advice on what to do about their predicament.
In today's story posted on the r/relationship subreddit community, we see a case of sexual harassment. In the workplace or in a learning setting, sexual harassment includes unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.
The original poster shows a mildly successful author in a small city. A lot of people have heard of the OP there because her town is the kind of place where everyone knows each other.
The OP has a roommate, Christine, who she has lived with for two years. Christine is the type who becomes blinded by love and is able to explain away pretty glaring flaws in the men she dates.
Lately, she told the OP about this man she met at a coffee shop, with whom she's completely infatuated. She told this man about being roommates with the OP and to check out her website.
Now this guy gets all over the OP's page and is always in the OP's face when he visits. Things got out of hand when this guy tried to sexually assault her, but guess what?
OP's roommate ended up defending him while blaming OP.

The OP was a little turned off by the sheer frequency

She's completely infatuated with him and is convinced he loves her

"I know you want this. You wrote about it."

She says it's a part of adult life and that the OP's reaction was immature

According to her, the OP can just leave if she's uncomfortable or stay in her room

This redditor tells the OP to remember this:

Coming out of the OP's bathroom was just too much. Some redditors say that since he has no problem invading her privacy or physical personal space, then someone like that can sneak a cam in somewhere he knows the OP will eventually be seen nude.
The OP was adviced to start documenting it so she can gather up enough evidence to get a restraining order. Drop your own advice in the comments section below.
