Why do we always assume the worst?

Things are never as bad as they seem, sometimes they are but most of the time our brains immediately pick the worst scenario possible before even trying to understand what is going on.

Since we always assume the worst, sometimes our eyes can play tricks on us, what you usually think you saw at first glance is not always the whole story. This is why it's never a good idea to immediately jump to conclusions without checking thoroughly beforehand.

Most of us can easily get scared after seeing the things in the pictures below. They're so convincing that a mini-heart attack is almost guaranteed.
