Photographers constantly strive to capture their subjects in the best light. For instance, they spend a lot of time waiting for the ideal sunset shot or spend the entire day following an animal in order to get its best pose or expression.

However, in order to capture a magnificent shot, the cameraman must repeatedly fail and this can be through a blurry, unsteady, or insufficiently lovely pictures. Even if such images cannot be entered into a competition, they are ideal for making you smile.

These unsuccessful photos have been chosen and collected by the Facebook group called the "Crap Bird Photography" in an effort to make people laugh. This is what it says in the "About" section:

“You know the story: there’s always something in the way, they just won’t pose right; the camera does something it shouldn’t; wrong exposure, fuzzy photos, can’t get the bird in the frame, etc. We preferably want photos of wild birds. Funny photos are acceptable but keep in mind the main emphasis should be on photos gone wrong.”
