There are some people that care about dogs in stores and there are some people that don't care about dogs in stores.

We are here with another Reddit post to share with you all from the AITA thread that we often see posted. This thread is specifically for people who are looking to find out if they are in the wrong for the way they reacted or handled a situation or what they did.
We often see these posts because people love to give their opinions, and believe it or not, Reddit commenters are fantastic at giving their perspective and side on the said situation. We love sharing these because they're pretty entertaining to read as we get to look into other people's lives and really get to see their situations and how they respond.
Sometimes we find that the comments are completely split, and sometimes they've picked a clear verdict. By the sounds of this one, there was a clear verdict. However, some comments seem to be addressing things from a different perspective.
Today we're going over a Reddit post where a lady asked for advice on whether she was TA for telling a woman to get her dog out of Target. The verdict is clear on Reddit, but some people thought the lady had some reason for it.
Let's dive in and check out the full post and some awesome comments left on it.
OP starts off her post already explaining how Target is not dog friendly and clearly this dog wasn't a service dog.
ChodeJones6969Then she goes on to explain how she told a Target employee and they told her that they weren't going to tell the woman to leave.
ChodeJones6969So OP decides to go up to the lady and talk to her. OP tells her that it's gross to have a dog there and that she needs to leave.
ChodeJones6969Then OP says that the woman causes a scene, OP takes a photo, then walks away.
ChodeJones6969Then OP gets stopped by a customer, but OP's response is not what dog lovers might want to hear.
ChodeJones6969Right off the bat this is the first comment. There's a part two to it below.
SwirlyflurryUltimately this is what it comes down to though. OP doesn't have the authority to tell her to leave.
SwirlyflurrySome people had other responses though and actually agreed with OP. Second part to this comment is below.
Outrageous-Ad-9069They are claiming that this is a much bigger problem than people might think it is.
Outrageous-Ad-9069Then people came in to quickly defend the comment above and OP saying that dogs can be a problem in public places like that.
sepher32We agree that this was not OP's place to tell the customer anything.
cheerfulwalrus12Comments began asking for clarification. It seems that many agree it wasn't OP's place to talk to the lady though.
D_ScudieroThis comment actually blamed everyone in the situation and said they all played a part.
muy_caronaThis comment said again that Redditors are all animal lovers so coming here with a post like this was not ideal.
religionlies2uThe YTA comments didn't stop coming in though.
karmarroThis comment really agreed with OP in their reasoning for wanting the dog out of the store.
ZookeepergameOk1833NTA comments were actually quite popular too even though the verdict was that OP was TA.
CofeehorseeThis a short comment but it says a lot.
journeyintopressureThis situation actually got quite a few mixed responses in the comments below, which we didn't really expect. Ultimately the verdict was that OP was TA in this situation, but many comments actually backed them up.
How do you feel about dogs being in stores, and how was this situation handled?
