In a world full of hatred and murder, a small minority of people choose to break the cycle and show a little compassion to their fellow human beings. It's not that hard to fight the urge to hate other people and spare their lives, all it takes is a little compassion and understanding. 

Abraham Lincoln once said:  'Don't criticize them; they are just what we would be under similar circumstances.', which sums up this entire ordeal and teaches us a very important lesson. Even if we're in a war or just a regular conflict, we can always put our differences aside and treat each other fairly.
