Swifties Of Reddit Label Woman An A**hole For Selling Her Friend's Taylor Swift Ticket To Her Sister

If you're a Taylor Swift fan (or even if you aren't), you will know that tickets for her 'The Eras Tour' are a hot commodity the world over. And, if you're lucky enough to secure a ticket to Taylor's epic show, we're willing to bet there's no way you would part with it - at least not willingly.

One Reddit user (who has since deleted her account) shared her story in the r/AITA (Am I The A**hole?) subreddit. She explained that some time ago, she and some friends purchased four tickets to the Taylor Swift concert.

The OP and her friends Marissa, Haley, and Aiden were all set to have a blast at the concert. The Redditor bought the tickets, and her friends paid her back accordingly.

They had planned to arrive at the venue early so that they could soak it all in and hang out before the show. But Marissa works in a restaurant and wasn't able to get off work early.

At around 1 pm, the OP started texting everyone to get ready because she wanted to leave at 2. Marissa didn't answer the OP's texts as she was still stuck at work, so the Redditor picked up everyone else first and then waited outside Marissa's house for a bit.

When Marissa didn't turn up, the OP and the others decided to leave without her. 20 minutes later, Marissa started calling all of them, saying she was sorry she couldn't get away from work but was on her way now and would be ready in 15 minutes.

When they called Marissa and told her what happened, she was understandably devastated. The OP decided to sell Marissa's ticket to her sister, who desperately wanted to go to the concert.

The OP says she hasn't heard from Marissa since, so she's wondering if she was the a**hole here. Keep scrolling to see how people reacted.

What are your thoughts on this situation? Do you think the OP was out of line for selling Marissa's ticket, or was it Marissa's fault for not organizing herself better at work?

We would love to hear your opinions on this. You can share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
