Grief-Stricken Dog Owner Asks Online Community How To Move On From Loneliness And Anger Brought By Death Of Their Dog Of Almost 12 Years

Well, this is one of the great examples of how people are able to find a silver lining in a snowpocalypse.
The National Weather Service office in Buffalo, New York, issued a warning statement about a band of heavy snow that was coupled with strong winds at approximately 11 o'clock at night on Saturday. This combination created a "burst of snow" in the western portions of the state.
Winds shifted to the west, bringing the biggest "lake-effect" snowstorms Buffalo, Cleveland, and Dunkirk had experienced in a while on Sunday morning. Winter weather advisories for "blowing snow" were in effect for Buffalo through Sunday night.
Although severe snowfall is not uncommon in Buffalo, this storm appeared to be more intense than others that have slammed the city in recent years. According to the mayor of Buffalo, Byron Brown, who was interviewed by CNN, the quantity of snowfall that occurred was "much more than we usually get."
There has been a lot of disruption to travel plans in the region due to the multi-day weather event, with roads being closed, driving bans put in place, and flights being canceled the weekend before Thanksgiving. The NFL's Buffalo Bills had to reschedule a game because of the weather.
Take a look at the gallery of pictures and videos below. All of these are submitted by residents who were there at the time, to get an idea of how crazy this snowstorm was.
Although it was really an alarming and dangerous natural event, some people are really good at making situations like these lighter. It makes the atmosphere calm and better than focusing mainly on its negative effects.
Truly, positivity is contagious (the good kind of positive, though). If you have more pictures or videos like these that you'd want to share, please feel free to comment down below!
