Dog Owner Is Curious On Why Dogs Are Sniffing Around Before Pooping And The Redditors' Thoughts Are Absolutely Hilarious
Dogs are known to sniff before they poop. But why?

Dogs are animals that have a keen sense of smell. They can sniff out many different things, including drugs, bombs, and even cancer.
They are also very observant of their surroundings. They can sense danger aside from food and water resources, and sometimes they are trained to become service dogs for people who have disabilities.
According to a study, dogs can detect hormonal changes in humans, which makes them aware of possible behavior changes, too. Another thing is that they are sensitive to the smell of urine, and this sensitivity even allows them to detect prostate cancer just by smelling a person's urine.
However, it is a different thing when it comes to knowing where and when they poop. Dog owners typically have a serious conversation with their pets if the animal has a bowel movement in a location that is not specifically allocated for that purpose.
Through their sense of smell, dogs were aware of when they had to go to the bathroom or outside to poop, and it is important to teach dogs to rely on their sense of smell to identify when it was the appropriate time for them to defecate. Not only would this decrease the number of times that your dog has an accident outside the house, but it would also help them retain better health.
