Abandoned Puppy Braves Freeze On Lonely Road

Heroes truly do not wear capes!
All domestic cats, including feral, stray, and pet cats, are members of the same species. However, stray cats and feral cats differ greatly from one another in their interactions and relationships with humans.
Knowing the difference can help you decide how to interact with a cat or what if any, intervention would be in each cat's best interests. This is regardless of whether you work in a shelter, are a vet, a cat advocate, or simply live in a neighborhood with community cats.
Perhaps, while a stray cat may be sufficiently socialized to allow human contact, if it goes too long without engaging in constructive human interaction, she may lose that socialization and perhaps go feral. A stray cat can revert to being a pet cat under the correct conditions, and the OP in today's story made it happen.
The OP shared how she has been feeding this stray cat in front of her workplace for weeks now. The cat is very affectionate with the OP and her colleagues. The OP has even asked the shops around, and they all said that he's a stray. The OP managed to find someone who is willing to adopt him, but the security guard at her workplace won't let her take him, claiming he wants to keep the cat there to chase away the mice.
Stray cats once resided indoors and had socialization from humans but have lost their home, been abandoned, or is otherwise no longer in regular touch with humans. As their interaction with people decreases over time, a stray cat may turn wild.
But the stray cat in today's story was lucky enough to find a new home, all thanks to the OP. In the end, she was declared not the AH.
