When this happens, most of us would rush to our doctors. Nobody would ever suspect the cat.

A person who leads a healthy lifestyle and doesn't have any medical condition would obviously freak out when he suddenly feels suffocated while sleeping in the night. This suffocation doesn't happen at any other time of the day, it only happens at night when he's fast asleep.
Creepy right? What would you do if that happened to you?
I don't know about you, but I'd definitely move out of the house thinking it's possessed. There's no reason to suspect a cat or your pillow, because why?
Even when we know cats like to sit on things, we'd still not suspect it for nearly suffocating us in the middle of the night. This is exactly the story of Twitter user @stluis_htx.
For months, he thought he was facing weird breathing problems during his sleep, but couldn't pinpoint the reason that caused the difficulty. He had no clue what was happening, and, as luck would have it, even moving houses wouldn't have helped.
@stluis_htx had no health problems that he could attribute to the weird breathing problems in the middle of the night, so naturally, he was worried. Without wasting any more time, he installed a camera in his bedroom to find out what was causing him to nearly suffocate in sleep, but never expected to see what you're about to!
@stluis_htx and his cat.
At first, he would've probably fallen in love with the fact that his cat loved him deeply and watched him sleep.
I mean, isn't this totally romantic?!
Twitter / @stluis_htxSuddenly everything changed.
His cat silently climbed on his face, stretched, and tried to fall asleep. On @stluis_htx's face.
Twitter / @stluis_htxAnd so began breathing difficulties.
While the cat was comfortable on @stluis_htx's face, @stluis_htx, on the other hand, had a tough time staying asleep because he simply couldn't breathe!
Twitter / @stluis_htxHis post goes viral!
His post on Twitter naturally went viral. With 1.3 million likes and over 366K retweets, people from all over the world were ready to comment.
Here are some of the best ones.
This very well could be the reason!
Twitter / @stluis_htxI'd be terrified if this happened to me.
Twitter / @stluis_htxWell, they do want to take over the world...
Twitter / @stluis_htxWell, I guess he's not alone.
Twitter / @stluis_htxThere's actually a book about this? Wow.
Twitter / @stluis_htxSame here. ROFL.
Twitter / @stluis_htxOh, now I know.
Twitter / @stluis_htxAt least we know.
Twitter / @stluis_htxWell, I, for one, am glad it wasn't the case of demonic possession. The culprit was @stluis_htx's cat, who absolutely loved smothering him while he slept!
For many months, @stluis_htx thought he was having some weird breathing problems. Turns out, it was his cat that enjoyed sleeping on his face.
A word while we're on this subject. I know most of you don't want to hear this, but as a responsible writer, it's only right that I lay facts straight.
While it's cute to see a cat on an adult human's face, it's not cute to see them on an infant's face. Cats don't intentionally smother babies and infants, and although it's highly rare, always keep a close eye on your human and fur babies.
On to the next!
