Man Falls Asleep On Twitch Live Stream For 3 Hours And Wakes Up To Hundreds Of People Watching The Whole Thing

Live streaming is supposed to be lively and full of chatter, but not for one streamer who accidentally fell asleep!

Live streaming has been taking the internet by storm ever since the arrival of the new platform,Twitch, which allows people to jump online and join a bunch of others to watch online gamers play their favorite games.

Of course it's not all about gaming, you can spend you time chatting and hanging as part of a large community, and just enjoy making online friends.

One Twitch streamer, who goes by the name JesseDStreams was hanging out online one night when he accidentally fell asleep. Oddly enough for him, it turned out to be a nap great enough to make him Twitch famous!

Meet Jesse, a gaming based streamer on the Twitch

36-year-old Jesse likes to stream games online, and had a following of around 1000 people on his channel, but a chill stream that turned into an accidental nap changed all of that for him. He woke up to around 200 viewers who had been chatting, donating money, and waiting for him to wake up.

“I usually stream games,” Jesse said in an interview. “But I like to have a chill streaming from my couch stream once in a while where people can just come by and hang out and just have a conversation.”

The stream had started like almost any other...

“Prior to me falling asleep, the session had been going just like any other,” Jesse said. “A few visits from people and I’m not sure if anyone actually chatted.” But that was when he accidentally drifted off to sleep!

That when people actually started tuning in, and waited eagerly for him to wake up.

Jesses viewer count and donation levels just kept growing!

"It wasn't too much" Said Jesse "But to me it was a lot" All for falling asleep! If only that was a regular program, perhaps I could start earning some money from Twitch...

So why did people stay to watch? Maybe some found it soothing, maybe some were worried, or maybe we'll just never know.

Hooray! He's finally awake!

Finally he woke up to the big surprise. Someone captured the exact moment of his confusion and as things do on the internet, it went insanely viral. Jesse went from having 1000 followers to having his clips viewed over 2 million times!

And needless to say, the viewers were very happy!

You can't judge him for making this face. Would you be embarrassed if you fell asleep on cam?

Or maybe he was just totally in shock after seeing what he woke up to? Who knows but that is definitely the face of a man who had a great nap and woke up not knowing what day of the week it was.
