Woman Shares Friend's Cute Cat Video With Family Online, Friend Freaks Out And Demands She Deletes It

Although we could characterize those who enjoy watching hilarious cat videos as easily distracted or lacking in taste to engage in more worthwhile activities, we all know this is untrue. Everyone can like cat videos.

This is partially due to the wide variety of cat videos available. Some are dull and pointless while others are amusing, adorable, or totally unexpected.

They all share the same trait as they feature charming, lovable, fluffy (or not-so-fluffy), and attractive cats. They are uploaded occasionally for informational purposes and occasionally for entertainment, but they all feed into our obsession with cats.

The OP posted a friend's cute cat video but came under fire for it. The thing is, the OP rescued a kitten from the sewer who was barely alive until the OP nursed him back to health.

OP couldn't keep him because she already had a cat of her own, but her best friend offered to foster him and later formally adopted him. OP's friend sent a cute video of him and the cat to her, and the family grew fond of Chili's growth.

They are all amazed that the cat managed to pull through and is now a healthy adult with a wonderful personality. The OP decided to make an unlisted YouTube link to share with the family and posted it in her family group chat.

The OP sent screenshots of the warm wishes to her friend, and he got mad about it.

OP has offered the following explanation for why they think they might be the AH:

I think I might be the asshole because I didn't tell Mark I was sharing the video with my family (which he has met). I didn't think it was a breach of privacy because it was an unlisted video, similar to any other private video sharing platform.

I also don't think I'm the asshole because the video did not embarrass him or put him in any bad light-- it was to share a cute video with my family. And I did my best to explain how it was an unlisted video that not just anybody could view.

The world loves cat videos, regardless of the language you speak, as they are a worldwide occurrence. Cat videos have gained popularity on websites other than YouTube.

They're everywhere on Facebook and Instagram, as well as on news sites. The OP was declared not the AH, and you can share this story with your loved ones to get their verdicts as well.
