When spooky and sweet meet, things get a bit more exciting! Seattle-based cat rescuer and photographer, Ashley Morrison, shares cute photos and captions of seven Halloween-named kittens born in late August last year.
There were two girls: Boo and Blair from the Blair Witch; and five boys: Casper, Trick (or Treat), Ghost, Magic, and Salem. The kittens were the last litter of Lilly, one of Morrison’s rescues and the mom cat, before she and her sister Tinker Belle will be spayed.
Morrison wasn’t just a cat rescuer and photographer. She was the “Youngest Old Cat Lady” and her enthusiasm for cats expanded when one time she gave shelter to 16 cats.
Two of them, cat sisters Lilly and Tinker Belle, gave birth to seven each. Tinker Belle’s kittens, who were named after Disney princesses and one prince, were first put up in another foster home but were sent back after getting protective of her litter.
All 14 kitty cousins became fast friends (and playmates) as they grow together in their foster home.
The social media favorite, Magic, was modeled next to Morrison herself for her viewers to see how petite the kittens are. Magic was later teased to Derpa Derp, a previous foster, who guested on the Ellen Show before.

Morrison couldn’t care about a house full of cute critters, thanks to her own mom, the craziness was eased a bit as Lilly and her babies were temporarily transferred to Grandma Cindi’s house.
youngestoldcatladyMorrison found it hard to say goodbye to the kittens even though her mom’s house is just a drive away. Every time she visits the bunch, it was always Blair who would fetch and caress her feet.
The grand kittens were soon comfortable and playful with their cat tree in their new foster room.
Morrison had planned to photograph all 14 kittens on a couch. But it was very difficult to gather everyone in one place.
youngestoldcatladyEvery kitten was moving and couldn’t just stay in their places. Still, Morrison and her mom tried their best to gather the kittens.

youngestoldcatladyThe rescuer's got her eye on Magic.
“It’s no secret I’ve got a crush on Magic. There’s always one or two in each litter you can’t help but find extra adorable. I mean, look at that heart nose!! (And no, I’m not keeping him- adoption is always the goal!),” the rescuer shared.

youngestoldcatlady“Lilly and babies have arrived at Grandma’s! Ohhhh my was it hard to say goodbye. Even though I can literally drive over every day 😂”
youngestoldcatlady“Today, September 28th, shall go down in history as the day I took my favorite family photo of all time 😂 There was sweat, crinkle balls, weird whistling noises and hand gestures that made this possible.”
youngestoldcatladyTake a look at these cuties on video:
“While @youngestoldcatlady is away, @youngestoldcatgrandma is the head cat. Look some of the cuties I get to visit,” Cindi shared.
youngestoldcatladyThen it was finally time for the Halloween costumes to be worn! Salem wore his wizard hat while Casper and Magic became cute couch gremlins.
youngestoldcatladyThe couch gremlins in question:
“Found these little couch gremlins holding paws. (Casper left, Magic on the right)”
youngestoldcatladyBrothers Casper and Magic became Instagram cuties with their newfound owners. You can follow them on Instagram and give some heart to their cuteness!
youngestoldcatladyMommy Lilly and Ghost, now called Poto Potato and Ghost Pepper, respectively, also found their home. Both are also Instagram stars and are happy with their own adventure.
youngestoldcatladyInseparable, both Boo and Blair are together in their new families, and, of course, the sisters are charming as always!
youngestoldcatladyOther than finding a new home, Salem also found a new friend, a rescue kitten named Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Disney princesses-named kittens found their own homes by Thanksgiving, just in time for a cozy welcome.
youngestoldcatladyMorrison and her efforts in rescuing these cats in the streets are very well appreciated. Lilly’s kittens are also starring in her 2022 calendar which you can follow and support on her Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
youngestoldcatladyMorrison, Grandma Cindi, and the kitties in their new homes celebrated their Thanksgiving with a thankful heart.
